OEM Center Muffler Reinforcement
A reinforcement brace for the Porsche GT3's OEM center muffler, designed to extend its fatigue life. GT3 center mufflers can fracture from an "oil can" effect, where varying internal exhaust pressure repeatedly flexes the metal skin until it fails from fatigue, sometimes worsened by backfires at track events. The Fabspeed brace reduces that flexing, potentially saving the cost of a replacement muffler ($2,500 for stainless, over $6,000 for titanium GT3RS/911R units). It's built from 11-gauge T304L stainless steel and slips onto the factory muffler using the existing GT3 center muffler straps, working with both stainless and titanium units. Fits all Porsche 997/997.2/991/991.2 GT3 and GT3RS, and 911 R center mufflers worldwide, as well as GT3 Cup cars and air-cooled 964/993 cars running a GT3 center muffler.
