Returns and FAQ.

Before you order
Fitment is the buyer’s responsibility. Performance parts are matched to a specific model, generation and often a specific chassis code, and the wrong part can look identical to the right one. If you are unsure whether a part suits your car, ask us before you order. Have your model, year and chassis code ready so we can check it properly.
Change of mind
Because parts are ordered against a specific vehicle, we accept change-of-mind returns only where the goods are unused, unfitted and still in their original packaging, and only within 14 days of delivery. All change-of-mind returns are subject to our approval and a 20 percent restocking fee. Return shipping is at the buyer’s cost.
Made to order and composite parts
Custom parts, made-to-order items and composite parts such as carbon fibre and fibreglass are final sale once payment has been made. Composite parts are largely hand-made, and small variations in finish, weave or gel coat between individual parts are inherent to that process, not a fault.
Special orders
Most of what we sell is not sitting on a shelf in Australia. It is ordered in for your car from the manufacturer, and some brands hold no stock at all: TechArt build every piece to order in Germany, and Fabspeed build in-house in Pennsylvania. Once we place that order with the manufacturer against your specification it cannot be cancelled or returned for change of mind, because it was made for you.
We will always tell you before you commit whether a part is a special order. If you are undecided, say so on the consult and we will hold the quote instead of placing the order.
Lead times
Any date we give you is the manufacturer’s current estimate, not a guarantee, and it moves with their production backlog. We confirm the live estimate with them before you commit rather than quoting a number off a website. If a build runs materially late we will tell you as soon as we know and talk through the options with you.
Painted and finished parts
Some parts are supplied unpainted or primed, because they are designed to be finished in your car’s colour once they land. TechArt’s aero and body pieces work this way. Painting is separate work, quoted separately, and a part that has been painted, prepped, cut or otherwise modified can no longer be returned for change of mind.
Paint matching is done to your car, not to a code alone, and a panel that has been resprayed or has aged in the sun may not match a freshly painted part exactly. Your painter should check this before the work starts.
Faulty goods and warranty
Nothing in this page limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Faulty goods are repaired, replaced or refunded as the law requires. Contact us with your order number, photos of the fault and a description of what is wrong, and we will take it from there. Whatever the outcome, you deal with us here rather than with the manufacturer overseas.
On top of that, each manufacturer offers its own warranty, and what it covers varies by brand, by product and by the circumstances of the claim. We confirm the cover that applies to your part in writing before you buy, not after something goes wrong. Rennen Plus is Brand Principal and Authorised Australian Representative for Fabspeed and for TracTive, so those claims, including the CSF and Forza ranges supplied through Fabspeed, are handled here in Australia. TechArt claims run through our appointment as their Australia operator, which means you deal with us rather than with Germany.
Shipping damage
Inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If a part has been damaged in transit, report it to us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of both the packaging and the part. Keep all packaging until the claim is resolved, as the carrier may need to inspect it.
How to lodge a return
Email info@rennenplus.com.au with your order number, the reason for the return and photos of the part. Wait for our approval and a return reference before sending anything back. We will provide the return address once your return is approved.
Refund timing
Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days of the part arriving back with us and being inspected. Refunds go back to the original payment method.
FAQ
Can I return a part once it has been fitted?
No. Once a part has been fitted it can no longer be sold as new, so fitted parts fall outside our change-of-mind return policy. This does not affect your rights for a genuinely faulty part.
Do you price match?
Ask us. We look at price match requests case by case, against genuine, comparable offers from other Australian suppliers.
Can my installer return it for me?
Yes, as long as they have your order number. We are happy to deal directly with your installer or workshop on a return, a warranty claim or a shipping damage issue.
What if the wrong part was sent?
We cover it. If we sent the wrong part, we cover the cost of getting the right one to you, including return shipping for the incorrect item.
Are performance packages returnable?
The individual components within a package follow the rules above. Labour, whether for a consult, fitting or tuning, is not refundable once the work has been carried out.
