XperTune Performance Software
XperTune The car's engine control unit; reprogramming it changes fuelling, ignition timing and boost pressure. performance software for the Porsche 991 GT3 and GT3 RS 3.8L/4.0L engines, tuned through a handheld device that reads data from the car's OBD-II port and pairs with a Windows PC (Mac isn't supported). You email Fabspeed the logged data and vehicle details, and they write back a custom tune within 1-2 business days to flash to the handheld and then the car; the same handheld can flash the ECU back to stock at any time. On a stock GT3 RS, Fabspeed measured a maximum gain of over 15 whp and 10 lb-ft of torque at 7500 rpm. The handheld pairs to one vehicle only.
