GiroDisc Brake Rotors

GiroDisc brake rotors for the Porsche 991 Turbo and Turbo S (2013-2016), a lighter, track-focused alternative to worn factory rotors or costly Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, the factory carbon-ceramic rotor option. discs. The cast iron disc is poured and machined in-house at GiroDisc in the USA, with a curved vane design that acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the rotor. A floating hat and disc assembly, secured with 8 or 10 cadmium-plated alloy steel drive pins and anti-noise spring washers, lets the disc self-centre and expand with heat without rattling. Once fitted, only the cast iron disc needs replacing when worn. Retains the factory handbrake. If converting from PCCB, GiroDisc recommends replacing all four rotors to keep factory brake bias intact.
