XperTune Performance Software
XperTune The car's engine control unit; reprogramming it changes fuelling, ignition timing and (on turbo cars) boost pressure. performance software for the Porsche 997.2 Carrera 3.6L and Carrera S 3.8L (2009-2012), tuned through a handheld device that interfaces with the vehicle's OBD-II port rather than removing the ECU for bench flashing. Reprograms sensor inputs, air/fuel ratios and boost pressure: the 3.6L Carrera goes from a factory 345hp/280 lb-ft to a tuned 361hp/294 lb-ft, while the 3.8L Carrera S goes from 385hp/310 lb-ft to 398hp/322 lb-ft. The same handheld device can flash the ECU back to stock at any time.
