H&R's sport springs for the Porsche 997 Carrera and Carrera S (2005-2012), made in H&R's ISO 9001 certified facility in Germany from a special 54SiCr6 spring steel rated to 290,000 psi tensile strength. They lower the car 1.5 to 2.0 inches on average and sharpen handling, but are tuned for street use rather than a track-only setup, so ride quality stays comfortable rather than harsh. As a spring-only upgrade, they work with the factory dampers, giving a lowered, more aggressive stance without the compromises of a full coilover kit.
