Numeric Racing's short throw shifter for Porsche 986/987/987.2 Boxster and Cayman plus 996/997/997.2 Carrera, Turbo and GT3 manual cars (1997-2012), CNC machined from aerospace-grade aluminum with stainless hardware and precision ball bearings on every axis. It cuts throw by 35% and gives a noticeably tighter, more mechanical shift feel, while staying a direct bolt-in that keeps the factory console and boot working as normal. Install takes under an hour with no modifications needed. It doesn't include new shifter cables, Numeric Racing recommends fitting their performance cables at the same time, and each shifter is hand-built to order with a short lead time before it ships.

Does this include a shift knob?

No, it's a direct-replacement shifter, so you keep and reuse the shift knob already in your car.

Is there a warranty if I already own an older Numeric Racing shifter?

Numeric Racing's limited lifetime warranty covers the original owner, but only for parts specific to that model shifter. Upgrading an older unit to the current version costs a $99 fee plus shipping.

Who installs it?

Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.
