Cold air upgrade kit for the Porsche 997 Carrera (2005-2008) Coupe and Cabriolet, increasing cold air flow to the engine by 20% when paired with a BMC F1 air filter. Fabspeed's dyno testing showed gains of 12whp and 4.1 Nm of torque with the BMC filter fitted, and even on a car with the stock exhaust it noticeably picks up the sports car sound. A smooth 4-ply silicone hose replaces the factory piece to reduce internal airflow turbulence. It's used by professional IMSA Grand-Am teams in series that require the factory airbox, as well as PCA club racers and driver's education participants. Simple bolt-on DIY installation. For owners who'd rather not get their hands dirty, Rennen Motorsport or an authorised dealer can fit it instead.
