GiroDisc's direct-replacement rotors for the 997 Carrera, sized up from the factory discs for greater heat capacity, reduced brake fade and longer rotor life under track use. The hat is machined from U.S.-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and the disc from GiroDisc's own cast iron, with a floating pin mount that lets the disc grow with heat without rattling while keeping the factory e-brake intact. Caliper spacers are included to accommodate the larger rotor diameter, and each choice is a lighter, cost-effective alternative to replacing worn factory rotors outright.

Frequently asked

Which cars does the GiroDisc Upgraded Brake Rotors fit?

Fits your Porsche 997 Carrera. Fabspeed lists this piece for: Porsche 997 Carrera (2005-2011), Non-S and S; caliper spacers included for the larger rotors. Exact fitment for your year, trim and options is confirmed on your free consult before anything is ordered.

What does the price include?

The delivered price includes the part from Fabspeed USA, freight to Australia, import costs and GST. Enter your postcode to refine delivery; the final figure is confirmed on consult.

How long until it arrives?

Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.

Do I need new calipers to fit these?

No. The larger GiroDisc rotors work with your factory calipers, and the kit includes the caliper spacers needed to accommodate the increased rotor size.

Will they affect my e-brake?

No. The factory e-brake function is retained.

Which option should I choose?

Front and Rear set the axle, while Non-S and S match the rotor to your car's factory brake package — the 997 S ran larger factory rotors than the Non-S, so check which your car came with before ordering, since the wrong choice won't fit your calipers.

Who installs it?

Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.

Is it covered by warranty?

Fabspeed products carry the manufacturer's warranty, supported locally through Rennen Plus as the Australian principal. See our returns policy.

Can I just buy this outright, or do I need to talk to someone first?

Every enquiry, whether it's one part or a full build, starts with a free consult. We confirm the exact spec for your car before anything is quoted or ordered.
