The 997.1 GT3 ran the Mezger engine architecture shared with Porsche's Le Mans cars, and it set the template every GT3 since has been measured against.
Fabspeed and TracTive both build for it: a package sits up top and the full range below, Fabspeed close to ready to order and TracTive quoted on a consult.

Performance Package

The first-generation 997 GT3 and GT3 RS are naturally-aspirated, high-revving cars built for the track first and the road second: exactly the platform where Fabspeed's catalytic converter and exhaust work matters most. As with the later 997.2 GT3, the package is built around German-imported HJS catalytic converters chosen for their flow characteristics at sustained high rpm, paired with a sport exhaust system engineered to the early 997 GT3's specific piping.

TracTive builds semi-active electronic suspension in the Netherlands, developed by engineers with roots in WP Suspension's original racing dampers. A A sensor that measures how the car is moving, cornering, braking and over bumps, so the suspension can react to it in real time. and control unit read the road and adjust each damper within milliseconds, fitted either as a plug-and-play kit through a car's existing factory electronics or as a standalone kit running TracTive's own control unit. Touring and Track lines are available depending on the car, fitted through our network with pricing confirmed at consult. The 997.1 GT3 and GT3 RS get TracTive's full Touring and Track range, plug-and-play or standalone, so the kit suits either a road-biased setup or a firmer track one.
