BMC Replacement Air Filters
Washable BMC F1 replacement filters that drop into the Acura NSX's factory airboxes in place of the paper originals. The cotton element is claimed to flow nearly 40 percent more air than paper, sits inside an alloy mesh screen that holds its shape under load, and the the rubber frame is formed in one piece around the filter, sealing tighter and resisting cracking outer frame seals tightly against the airbox. BMC supplies the same filter media to the Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz and Audi motorsport programmes. Sold as a pair for the twin-turbo NSX and rated with a 98.5 percent filtering efficiency to ISO 5011.
