Fabspeed's Secondary Cat Bypass X-Pipe replaces the restrictive, redundant factory secondary catalytic converters on the E90/92/93 M3 with a free-flowing A crossover pipe joining the two exhaust banks into an X shape, smoothing flow for a fuller, balanced tone., available resonated or non-resonated. The resonated version gives a significant volume increase with a more aggressive tone; non-resonated is louder still, with a sharp, signature M3 edge. Fabspeed's dyno testing showed consistent gains across the powerband, with maximum gains of 15whp and 8 ft-lbs of torque. Built from 14-16 gauge T304L stainless steel.

Frequently asked

Which cars does the Competition Link Pipe X- Pipe fit?

Fits your BMW M3 (E90/E92/E93, 2007-2013). Fabspeed lists this piece for: BMW E90/92/93 M3 (2007-2013). Exact fitment for your year, trim and options is confirmed on your free consult before anything is ordered.

What does the price include?

The delivered price includes the part from Fabspeed USA, freight to Australia, import costs and GST. Enter your postcode to refine delivery; the final figure is confirmed on consult.

How long until it arrives?

Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.

What's the difference between resonated and non-resonated?

Resonated gives a significant volume increase with a more aggressive tone; non-resonated is much louder with a sharper, more aggressive M3 tone.

How much power does it add?

Fabspeed's dyno testing showed maximum gains of 15whp and 8 ft-lbs of torque, consistent across the powerband.

Will removing the secondary cats affect emissions compliance?

This product removes the factory secondary catalytic converters and is intended for closed track events and off-road use only, per Fabspeed's disclaimer.

Which option should I choose?

Choose resonated for a significant, more aggressive volume increase that's still tempered; choose non-resonated for the loudest, sharpest version of the signature M3 tone Fabspeed offers.

Who installs it?

Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.

Is it covered by warranty?

Fabspeed products carry the manufacturer's warranty, supported locally through Rennen Plus as the Australian principal. See our returns policy.

Can I just buy this outright, or do I need to talk to someone first?

Every enquiry, whether it's one part or a full build, starts with a free consult. We confirm the exact spec for your car before anything is quoted or ordered.
