2nd X-Pipe
Fabspeed's 2nd X-Pipe replaces the restrictive, redundant factory secondary catalytic converters on the F80/F82 M3 and M4 with a free-flowing A crossover pipe joining the two exhaust banks into an X shape, smoothing flow for a fuller, balanced tone., developed after a customer asked for a more aggressive note from an M-Performance-muffler-equipped M3. It's a dramatic improvement in exhaust tone with no added check engine light. Fits both the standard car and those with the M-Performance Exhaust (does not fit the F83 convertible). Built in-house from 14-16 gauge Bent over an internal mandrel so the tube keeps a constant diameter through the bend, unlike crush-bending. T304L stainless steel, with flanges and braces waterjet cut and CNC milled on site. Standard M3/M4 models need minor cutting to remove the OEM part; M-Performance cars do not.
