Five hundred horsepower, and then fifty moreThe 958.1 Turbo ran a 4.8 litre twin turbo V8 making 500PS at 6,000rpm and 700Nm from just 2,250rpm. Porsche then slotted a Turbo S above it at 550PS, so the range topped out with two versions of the same engine separated by little more than boost and software.

Performance Package

The 958.1 Turbo and Turbo S carry a twin-turbo V8 that responds well to Fabspeed's exhaust work: HJS sport catalytic converters and Maxflo mufflers handle the extra volume those engines push, with a secondary cat bypass and ECU tune completing the package.
