The hat is US-sourced 6061-T6 aluminum, the disc is GiroDisc's own cast iron poured and machined in-house, and 12 cadmium-plated steel drive pins secure the floating mount with anti-noise spring washers so it self-centers between the pads and stays quiet when cold.
