These primary cat bypass pipes replace the LP640's restrictive factory catalytic converters with straight-through CNC mandrel-bent T304L stainless pipes, releasing more of the V12's high-pitched wail and giving a noticeable bump in power and throttle response. Expect a significantly louder, more aggressive exhaust note than stock. It's a simple bolt-on install with no cutting or welding, and you can choose whether to include valves or not depending on how the rest of your exhaust setup is configured. Fabspeed also offers optional O2 spacers, which can help avoid triggering a check engine light after the cats are removed. Fits all Murcielago LP640 models from 2007-2010.

Frequently asked

Does the Competition Link Pipes fit my Murciélago?

This listing is specific to the Lamborghini Murciélago. Exact fitment for your year, trim and options is confirmed on your free consult before anything is ordered.

What does the price include?

The delivered price includes the part from Fabspeed USA, freight to Australia, import costs and GST. Enter your postcode to refine delivery; the final figure is confirmed on consult.

How long until it arrives?

Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.

Will removing the catalytic converters cause a check engine light?

It can, since this removes the OEM cats; Fabspeed offers optional O2 spacers that can help avoid triggering one.

How does this change the sound?

Fabspeed says to expect a significantly louder, more aggressive exhaust note that releases more of the V12's high-pitched wail.

What's the "Include Valves?" option for?

It lets you choose whether the pipes come with or without valves, depending on how the rest of your exhaust system is set up.

Is this legal for street use?

No, removing the OEM catalytic converters means this is intended for closed-track events and off-road use only.

Which option should I choose?

Whether to include valves depends on the rest of your exhaust setup: choose Yes if your system needs the valve hardware in place, or No if you're pairing these pipes with a valveless system or plan to reuse existing valves elsewhere.

Who installs it?

Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.

Is it covered by warranty?

Fabspeed products carry the manufacturer's warranty, supported locally through Rennen Plus as the Australian principal. See our returns policy.

Can I just buy this outright, or do I need to talk to someone first?

Every enquiry, whether it's one part or a full build, starts with a free consult. We confirm the exact spec for your car before anything is quoted or ordered.
