CSF High-Performance Intercooler System
A high-performance intercooler system for the McLaren 720S and 765LT, redesigned in March 2023 to fit both Coupe and Spyder models. CSF's custom-spec A core design using flat plates and internal fins rather than round tubes, giving more surface area than a tube/fin core. core, built in-house, gives a 68% increase in core volume over OEM with a single-core, dual-pass design. Independent testing by M Engineering measured 99% efficiency against the OEM's 94%, and the core is pressure tested to 4 bar (58 psi). CNC-machined 6061 aluminium billet end tanks, made by RK Autowerks, are finished in CSF's aerospace-grade Space Grey coating (custom finishes available). Dual 1/8 NPT methanol injection bungs on the outlet tank come pre-plugged if unused. Installs from the rear wheel well without removing the downpipes, with laser-cut brackets and silicone throttle body couplers included.
