High-flow German German manufacturer of the high-flow catalytic converters Fabspeed fits in its sport cat products. sport catalytic converters for the McLaren MP4-12C, replacing the four restrictive factory converters with two 200-cell HD cores developed using Fabspeed's own MP4-12C and 570S test cars. Investment-cast inlets and outlets give the smoothest possible flow, cutting turbo-side restriction for faster spool and sharper boost response, and adding 28 whp and 29 ft-lb of torque on the dyno with no catalyst-related check engine light. Expect more turbo spool sound and higher frequencies for a much rawer exhaust note, with no added drone. Heat blankets made from T312L mesh, Kevlar and ceramic insulation keep temperatures under control. Built from T304L stainless steel and 5 lb lighter than the factory units, bolts straight on with no cutting or welding.
