It gives the V8 a higher-pitched, race-bred tone. Built from 14-16 gauge CNC mandrel-bent T304 stainless steel, it's guaranteed not to trigger a check engine light. Installation is a DIY bolt-on with no welding, though minor cutting is needed at the factory exhaust break point. It doesn't fit the 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 models.
