Fabspeed's Supercup Exhaust System replaces the restrictive factory muffler on the Porsche 911 Carrera (1976-1989) with a free-flowing, resonated design that brings out the 3.0L or 3.2L engine's roar. It's a muffler-bypass style system with two resonators to keep the tone from getting too raw, loud enough that Fabspeed recommends it for track use. Built from 14-16 gauge CNC mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel with 2.25-inch tubing, it saves 8 lbs from the rear of the car and finishes in a single-outlet Deluxe 4.5-inch oval tip. It bolts directly to the OEM catalytic converter, or a similar product in its place, and installs DIY with no cutting or welding. It's just as easy for Rennen Motorsport or an authorised dealer to fit, for owners who'd rather hand it to a professional.

Frequently asked

Does the Supercup Exhaust System fit my 911 G Series (3.2L)?

This listing is specific to the Porsche 911 G Series (3.2L). Exact fitment for your year, trim and options is confirmed on your free consult before anything is ordered.

What does the price include?

The delivered price includes the part from Fabspeed USA, freight to Australia, import costs and GST. Enter your postcode to refine delivery; the final figure is confirmed on consult.

How long until it arrives?

Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.

Is this suitable for daily street driving?

Fabspeed recommends it for track use given how loud and aggressive it is; the two built-in resonators tone it down slightly compared to a straight muffler bypass, but it's still an aggressive system.

Does it work with my catalytic converter?

Yes, it bolts directly to the factory catalytic converter or a similar product in its place.

How much weight does it save?

8 lbs from the rear of the car versus the factory muffler.

Which option should I choose?

Select the year matching your engine, 1984-1989 for the 3.2L or 1974-1983 for the 3.0L, to get the correctly sized system for your car.

Who installs it?

Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.

Is it covered by warranty?

Fabspeed products carry the manufacturer's warranty, supported locally through Rennen Plus as the Australian principal. See our returns policy.

Can I just buy this outright, or do I need to talk to someone first?

Every enquiry, whether it's one part or a full build, starts with a free consult. We confirm the exact spec for your car before anything is quoted or ordered.
