Long Tube Race Headers
Long tube race headers for the Porsche 981 Boxster/Cayman, including GT4 3.8 models (2013-2016), designed for race competition, driver's education, club racing and track events. They use equal-length T304 stainless steel, CNC mandrel-bent primary tubes with F1/Indy-car style high-velocity merge collectors for maximum exhaust flow from the cylinder heads. Bolting directly to any OEM 981 muffler, 981 PSE, or an aftermarket muffler built to OEM spec, they're a direct bolt-on with no cutting or welding required, and optional O2 spacers are available to help reduce check engine light occurrences. As the headers remove the factory catalytic converters, they're intended for closed-course and off-road use only. After the first heat cycle, all exhaust bolts should be retorqued to factory spec for a proper header seal.
