US-patented RENNKRAFT modular headers for the Porsche 981 Cayman GT4 and Boxster Spyder (2015-2016), CAD designed with a quick-release V-band connector that swaps between German-made HJS 200-cell catalytic converters and cat-bypass straight pipes. With the sport cats fitted the tone is louder and more raw than stock, with more defined high frequencies and more transparent off-throttle burbles; with the cat bypass pipes installed the car sounds closer to a 911 Cup car than a street Porsche. It saves 2 lb (0.9 kg) with the sport cats fitted or 7 lb (3.2 kg) with the cat bypass, versus the factory headers. Built from CNC mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel with F1-style merge collectors, it installs as a DIY bolt-on with no cutting or welding. It's just as easy for Rennen Motorsport or an authorised dealer to fit, for owners who'd rather hand it to a professional.
