TrackTec Conversion Kit
A conversion kit that adds Fabspeed's TrackTec valved bypass tone to an existing Fabspeed Maxflo exhaust on the Porsche 987.2 Boxster/Cayman, swapping in TrackTec inlet pipes for a raw, straight-pipe sound at the press of a button. Valves closed keep the familiar, refined Maxflo tone with no drone; open them and exhaust bypasses the mufflers through 48mm dump tubes for a burbling, thunderous roar. Fabspeed's testing showed a further 15 whp and 19 ft-lbs of torque gained at 4000 rpm on top of the Maxflo mufflers. It's built from .065-inch polished T304L stainless steel with Butterfly exhaust valves with high-temperature bearings at both spindle ends and a cast stainless body, used by several OEM sports car makers., and installs with no welding or cutting required. Fits all Porsche 987.2 Boxster/Cayman/Cayman R/Spyder vehicles worldwide from 2009 to 2012, when already equipped with a Fabspeed Maxflo exhaust.
