GiroDisc brake rotors for the Porsche 997.2 GT3 and GT3 RS (2009-2011), a lighter, cost-effective alternative to replacing worn PCCB carbon ceramic discs. The hat is US-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium; the disc is GiroDisc's own cast iron, poured and machined in-house in the USA, with a curved vane design that pumps cooling air through the rotor as it spins. A floating mount system on 8 to 10 cadmium-plated drive pins, secured with grade-12 cap screws and anti-noise spring washers, lets the disc expand with heat without rattling and self-centre between the pads. It's a direct factory replacement that retains the factory handbrake, built for reduced unsprung weight and better cooling under repeated track use.

Frequently asked

Which cars does the GiroDisc Brake Rotors fit?

Fits your Porsche 997.2 GT3. Fabspeed lists this piece for: Porsche 911 (997.2) GT3 and GT3 RS (2009-2011). Exact fitment for your year, trim and options is confirmed on your free consult before anything is ordered.

What does the price include?

The delivered price includes the part from Fabspeed USA, freight to Australia, import costs and GST. Enter your postcode to refine delivery; the final figure is confirmed on consult.

How long until it arrives?

Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.

Is this cheaper than replacing PCCB rotors?

Yes, GiroDisc positions this as a cost-effective alternative to replacing worn carbon ceramic (PCCB) discs once they wear out.

Does it retain the factory handbrake?

Yes, the design retains the factory e-brake function.

Should I replace all four rotors together?

Yes, when converting from carbon ceramic to GiroDisc iron rotors, replacing all four maintains the factory brake bias and consistent braking across the car.

Which option should I choose?

Front and rear rotors are sold separately as pairs; order both if you're converting the whole car off PCCB, and replace all four together to keep the factory brake bias intact.

Who installs it?

Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.

Is it covered by warranty?

Fabspeed products carry the manufacturer's warranty, supported locally through Rennen Plus as the Australian principal. See our returns policy.

Can I just buy this outright, or do I need to talk to someone first?

Every enquiry, whether it's one part or a full build, starts with a free consult. We confirm the exact spec for your car before anything is quoted or ordered.
