A carbon fibre Maxflo airbox cover for the Porsche 911 Carrera 997 (2005-2008), replacing the OEM base airbox cover, which Fabspeed says restricts airflow with a built-in muffler baffling the intake. Developed through 3D laser scanning and CAD design, flow-bench tested and dyno proven, it flows 35% more air to the engine, fully filtered, and adds +20hp with a throatier exhaust note even on an otherwise stock car. It's a simple screw-on DIY replacement for the top cover and small MAF housing, using CAD-optimised geometry and stainless steel hardware, taking about 30 minutes to fit. PDK and automatic cars need a vacuum line run to the airbox as part of installation. Carbon fibre construction is autoclaved, and Fabspeed states the design is US EPA, European, and CARB compliant. Either way works: fit it yourself, or let Rennen Motorsport or an authorised dealer handle it.

How long does it take to fit?

About 30 minutes, as a simple screw-on DIY replacement for the top cover and small MAF housing. If you'd prefer, Rennen Motorsport or an authorised dealer can fit it for you instead.

Who installs it?

Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.
