GiroDisc direct-replacement rotors for the Corvette C8, a cast-iron alternative to the factory discs built for repeated track use rather than a one-off track day. The center hat is US-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft-spec aluminum, poured and machined in-house at GiroDisc in the USA, with a curved vane design that acts as a centrifugal pump to draw cooling air through the rotor. A floating hat-and-disc assembly, secured with cadmium-plated alloy steel drive pins and anti-rattle spring washers, lets the disc self-center and expand with heat without noise, while keeping the factory parking brake intact. Front and rear pairs are sold separately, so pick the end you're replacing; the cadmium plating adds long-term corrosion resistance over the factory rotors.
