The system retains the factory valve controls, so no controller is required, though an optional Valvetronic Controller Kit adds manual override. Helical valves, the same design used by OEM manufacturers including Porsche, McLaren and Ferrari, use high-temperature bearings and a stiffening-ribbed stainless steel body. Paired with an ECU tune, it adds up to 53whp and 47 ft-lb of torque at 5850rpm with the valves open, and saves 30 lbs from the rear versus the factory muffler. Built in-house from 14-16 gauge T304L stainless steel, direct bolt-on with no cutting or welding.
