Valved Supersport X-Pipe Exhaust System

A fully valvetronic cat-back exhaust for the 2019+ facelift Audi R8 V10, purpose-built to fit the updated rear bumper. Fabspeed's signature 2.5-inch Quad-Resonated X-pipe smooths exhaust pulses into a refined, high-pitched tone when the valves are closed, while 70mm dump tubes deliver an unmuffled scream with pops and crackles on deceleration when open. The factory computer opens and closes the valves automatically, so no controller is needed, though an optional Valvetronic Controller Kit adds manual control. Helical valves, aerospace-grade parts imported from the UK, use high-temperature silica carbide bearings for durability. Paired with an ECU tune, it adds up to 53whp and 47 ft-lb of torque at 5850rpm with the valves open, and saves 38 lbs (17.2 kg) from the rear of the car. Built in-house from 14-16 gauge T304L and 321L stainless steel.
Frequently asked
Does the Valved Supersport X-Pipe Exhaust System fit my R8 V10?
This listing is specific to the Audi R8 V10 (Typ 4S). Exact fitment for your year, trim and options is confirmed on your free consult before anything is ordered.
What does the price include?
The delivered price includes the part from Fabspeed USA, freight to Australia, import costs and GST. Enter your postcode to refine delivery; the final figure is confirmed on consult.
How long until it arrives?
Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.
Do I need the valve controller?
No, the factory computer controls the valves automatically; the optional Valvetronic Controller Kit just adds manual override.
Does this fit the pre-facelift R8?
This version is specifically designed to fit the 2019+ facelift rear bumper.
How much power does it add?
Up to 53whp and 47 ft-lb of torque at 5850rpm with the valves open, paired with an ECU tune.
What makes the valves different?
Aerospace-grade OEM Tier 1 helical valves imported from the UK, the same design used by Porsche, McLaren and Ferrari, with high-temperature silica carbide bearings.
Which option should I choose?
The exhaust already switches automatically based on the car's own throttle and drive-mode signals, so the controller isn't required. Add the Valvetronic Controller Kit only if you want to override that and choose quiet or full-open manually, on demand.
Who installs it?
Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.
Is it covered by warranty?
Fabspeed products carry the manufacturer's warranty, supported locally through Rennen Plus as the Australian principal. See our returns policy.
Can I just buy this outright, or do I need to talk to someone first?
Every enquiry, whether it's one part or a full build, starts with a free consult. We confirm the exact spec for your car before anything is quoted or ordered.
