Valved Performance Package

Fabspeed's valved exhaust package for the 2016-2018 Audi R8 V10 pairs a Valved Supersport X-pipe exhaust with BMC F1 air filters and an ECU tune, measured at 75 whp at 8000 rpm on the dyno. The valve system runs two distinct tones from one exhaust: closed, gases are routed through a quad-resonated x-pipe for a quieter cruise; open, they exit straight through the dump pipes for a race-car roar with pops on lift-off. Valve actuation is normally controlled by the car itself, but you can add Fabspeed's Valvetronic Controller Kit to take manual control with the press of a button. Built from 16-gauge CNC mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel, the system is about 30 lbs lighter than the factory exhaust, and it bolts on with no cutting or welding.
Frequently asked
Does the Valved Performance Package fit my R8 V10?
This listing is specific to the Audi R8 V10 (Typ 4S). Exact fitment for your year, trim and options is confirmed on your free consult before anything is ordered.
What does the price include?
The delivered price includes the part from Fabspeed USA, freight to Australia, import costs and GST. Enter your postcode to refine delivery; the final figure is confirmed on consult.
How long until it arrives?
Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.
Can I control when the valves open and close?
Not by default; the car controls valve timing based on throttle and drive mode. Adding the optional Fabspeed Valvetronic Controller Kit lets you override it manually.
What gains does Fabspeed measure on this package?
75 whp at 8000 rpm on their in-house dyno.
How much weight does it save?
About 30 lbs (13.6 kg) versus the factory exhaust.
Which option should I choose?
Add the Valvetronic Controller Kit if you want to override the exhaust valves yourself rather than leaving them to the car's throttle-based logic; without it, valve timing stays automatic.
Who installs it?
Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.
Is it covered by warranty?
Fabspeed products carry the manufacturer's warranty, supported locally through Rennen Plus as the Australian principal. See our returns policy.
Can I just buy this outright, or do I need to talk to someone first?
Every enquiry, whether it's one part or a full build, starts with a free consult. We confirm the exact spec for your car before anything is quoted or ordered.
