Fabspeed's Long-Neck Intercooler for the Porsche 911 Turbo 930 (1978-1989, including the 930S slantnose) replaces the factory intercooler and its aging air bypass valve system with a design that extends the outlet straight to the throttle body. The larger surface area and internal volume dissipate more heat, preventing heat soak so the power gain holds up on track and not just on a dyno pull, while 5-ply silicone hoses eliminate the leak-prone O-rings of the factory system. Fabspeed's testing showed gains of 40whp and 29 ft-lbs of torque, with the core flowing up to 900 CFM at a 2.6:1 pressure ratio and under 1 psi of drop. The kit includes the bypass valve, bypass sleeve, rubber elbow, silicone hoses and mounting hardware, and bolts on directly using the factory fitting location.
