Maxflo Air Intake System

Fabspeed's MAXFLO Air Intake System replaces the heavy steel OEM airbox on the Porsche 911 Turbo 930 (1978-1989, not the non-intercooled 1975-1977 cars), which traps heat around the engine's intake air, with a CAD-designed system that follows the shape of Porsche's own 934 IMSA air intake. Fabspeed's dyno testing showed gains of 25.2hp (21whp) and 14 ft-lbs of torque, while saving 7.5 lbs (3.4kg) over the factory box, and the open design also clears up the engine bay for easier valve adjustments and maintenance. It uses a BMC F1 filter, the same brand used by Porsche Motorsport, which is washable and re-oilable for the life of the car, and is rated to support up to 550hp. Installation is a simple DIY bolt-on job with no cutting or welding. Owners who'd rather not do it themselves can book it in with Rennen Motorsport or an authorised dealer instead.
Frequently asked
Does the Maxflo Air Intake System fit my 911 Turbo (930)?
This listing is specific to the Porsche 911 Turbo (930). Exact fitment for your year, trim and options is confirmed on your free consult before anything is ordered.
What does the price include?
The delivered price includes the part from Fabspeed USA, freight to Australia, import costs and GST. Enter your postcode to refine delivery; the final figure is confirmed on consult.
How long until it arrives?
Every Fabspeed part is made in-house at Fabspeed USA with about a one-week production lead time, then allow another 3-4 days for delivery to Australia via UPS. That freight is already included in the price.

No, it doesn't fit the non-intercooled 1975-1977 cars; it's for 1978-1989 930s.
How much power does it add?
Fabspeed's dyno testing showed gains of 25.2hp (21whp) and 14 ft-lbs of torque.
What filter does it use, and does it need oiling regularly?
A BMC F1 filter, the same brand used by Porsche Motorsport, which is washable and re-oilable for the life of the car rather than a disposable paper element.
How much power can this intake support?

Who installs it?
Rennen Motorsport in Adelaide, or an authorised dealer near you. Fitting it yourself may also be an option depending on the part, so raise it on your consult; professional installation is quoted separately.
Is it covered by warranty?
Fabspeed products carry the manufacturer's warranty, supported locally through Rennen Plus as the Australian principal. See our returns policy.
Can I just buy this outright, or do I need to talk to someone first?
Every enquiry, whether it's one part or a full build, starts with a free consult. We confirm the exact spec for your car before anything is quoted or ordered.
